Some of my Paintings

One morning, when I lived in the Blue Mountains, I was up a lookout before dawn. Walking from my van to the lookout, I could see an increadible dark purple sky with penulous clouds and hints of electrical activity. As I reached the lookout, I could see thatthis was a massive cloud bank, that did not stretch to the horizon. Instead it sat ominously above a brilliant sunrise, that had turned mauve as I approached, then lightened to pink and orange and finally a glowing gold as the sun burst from behind the distant mountains. This is my first attempt at pastels on paper. The surf at night (Acrylic on Paper)

And here is a shot of Captain Kirk, for something really nice to look at.
Let me see...

Surrender where there was once Submission
Faith where was once only Hope

Let me have...

Intention where I once had only Wishing
Doing, where I was once only trying
And Acceptance where I was once denying

Oh avert thine eyes
Those furtive glances mirrorwards
Those long loving lingers
Fondle my hair
Purse my lips
Check to see if this worthless suit
Will suit
Made to measure
To clothe the meager mind
And trap the animal brow
Fashioned to be out of fashion
Never mind the quality
Feel the width
On display, I am a walking manequin
Eyes, arms, legs, breasts, belly, legs
Hair, skin
Hands and feet, safety valves
Wrap them all in feathers, fur, leathers
Disguise my scent
Constrict my stride
Swallow my pride
Stand and face another day
Play the part

Here is the first in a Word Art series called 'Bubblinity'

Apart from my Collages, I also create artworks using Word. Proving that I can be original as well as derivative. This one is entitled 'Particle Psychics'
What is Balance?
Scattered Symetry
What is Symetry?
Unnatural Balance
Unstable Patterns of Force
There is no Symetry
Only one small glimpse
Of teetering Truth
Don't fool yourself
Stasis kills, rots
Sitting, waiting, patient
No signposts, save myself
No Time, save Eternity
Lost within the drama
Of my unfolding

Shining intuition, but another limitation
Desire expressed as fear
And needles of doubt
Determination dropped
Upon me, from above

Winged Angels laugh as I
Throw crumbs of Englightenment
At myself

Everything Always Already Perfect

When I am healed I am not healed alone. When I heal others, I heal myself. The nature of me is ME. No search for myself is fruitless, I always find pieces, wherever I look. And although each piece is always already ALL of me, the journey is the Purpose and so each facet is hidden within the sands of Time and is revealed through my releasing Need and embracing Desire.

By begrudging and judging, I simply remove myself from the process, the Journey and place myself, lock myself, into a lengthened experience of Time. It is through Acceptance that I expand the Now Moment, and thus achieve a "Shortening of the Way".

First of Many

Welcome to my blog. This is my Universe and you are welcome in. I will show you some of my Artwork, share my poems and comment on the world, as it unravels around us.

I would love to hear from others who are on the same wavelength.

Some vital statistics:

I was born
I am alive
I will die

I have travelled Australia extensively and have made friends (my major life goal) with humans. I am a Cancerian and remember some of the 60's. I love Star Trek - it taught me everything I need to know. I have two sons.

I love to create and would love to hear comments on the works I post on this blog.
